Marjam Reyhani

Organic forms, patterns and portraits play a leading role in Marjam’s work. 
She mainly works with ink, pen, markers and pencils on paper and canvas. 

Photographing her handmade drawings allows her to add something extra with the available light and possibly determine a different size for the final image. Several of her works are also created by superimposing handmade drawings into a new composition. 

“From an early age I have felt enormous interest in 'looking and seeing' in the broadest sense of the word, without filters. This is my inspiration, also for my work.”
