I am Tanja Nijssen, self-taught artist, and I live in the beautiful Dutch town Hoogwoud, in the North of the Netherlands.

Art has always had my interest and since October 2021 I have been making abstract intuitive art
My work is versatile, colorful, abstract. I use different styles and always keep developing.
The colorful works are layered and often still provided with stones or other material.That can be anything, old scarves, newspapers, cloths, tidy, etc.

I get inspiration from my environment, nature, people, impressions. I am always curious about new forms of art and keep developing myself.
I usually don't have a plan in advance…it develops along the way. I try to form a harmonious warm and colorful entirity.

Of course abstract art is personal…I hope I can let people with my works
feel in the moment….
