Klaas Hartzema alias Klaas Hart ❤️ Art is an artist who has, not only in his art but also in his professional life as a re-integration worker in psychiatry, a very whimsical and pure look of the world.
Klaas is now giving art lessons at atelier de Kunstkop and started a gallery for the work of his clients.
He worked over 15 years with the homeless people in Amsterdam where he coordinated several art projects and worked 5 years with people who had disabilities and autism with mental challenges and behavioural problems.
Born in Amsterdam, close to the red-light district, the reality, his upbringing and pitfalls of urban life played a huge role in his development and work. Klaas has created murals, book illustrations, posters, flyers and sculptures. One is standing on the streets in Amsterdam, Droogbak.1.
His work has been exhibited in galleries in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Milan. His inspiration comes from street art, contemporary art, COBRA and comic books.
