Helene: “Wednesday December 31st 2014 around midnight I threw my sofa, some cabinets and a couple of huge plants out of my living room, transformed it into a studio and started to paint with some leftover industrial paint..

Looking back to my first years all I can do is smile..the enthusiasm, positivity and excitement was  there from day one, but just very few of my early paintings survived.

Obviously I didn't know anything about painting..I didn't even know until that point that I wanted to paint.
With time came the right paint, the right brushes, the right technique and the ability to create real art.  Artists like Kandinsky, Malevich and Lissitzky influenced the direction of my work as well as my love for Science fiction, Quantum Physics and mechanical engineering drawings.
I did wall paintings for clients, there are paintings hanging in rooms all over Amsterdam and from December 2022 until February 2023 I had an exhibition at the privat clinic Acibadem.

My mission is to create a smile on people's faces with my colourful paintings and that is exactly what they do.”
