Nesaea is made on an altered dress form. An enormous love for the sea (and its inhabitants' history), the changing colors of the sunset and the water were the inspiration for this work.
The body is made up of various layers to create relief using many mixed media and techniques. Shimmer organza, vintage jewelry, flowers, metallic spray paints, embellishments such as seahorses, pearls, beads and shells. The foot is part of Nesaea because of the many shells and starfish. The whole is finished with an organza shimmer voile.
The base is adjustable in height up to approximately 35 cm. The body is 75 cm high and 40 cm wide.
