Nanda van Alebeek

Nanda van Alebeek

Nanda van Alebeek, Den Dungen 1948, is a versatile, lively and enterprising artist.
Since childhood, design and the unstoppable need to express herself in it have played an important role in Nanda's life. After her training as a teacher in handicrafts A and B, she studied at the Artibus Academy in Utrecht, among other things, specializing in portrait modeling and she learned to make masks at Satori in Italy and other professional mask makers.
In the years that followed, Nanda gained national fame with her performances for large national and international companies during openings, fairs and presentations of new products.
With her models she had the ability to evoke a mystical tension through artistic additions, choreography and sound that fascinates and amazes young and old.
Nanda has written a book about body paint, the central technique used in her performances.

There is a permanent exposition of her work at the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center in Den Bosch.
Some other exhibitions in which she recently participated are: Brabant Art Fair, Kunstroute Warande – Helmond en de Expositie KUBRA : De Verbinding.
