Biography Ekaterina Chekalina

Ekaterina Chekalina is an artist who lives and woks in Sergiev Posad, Moscow region. She paints sophisticated young ladies in striped stockings and a royal goffered collar, which play chess, ride retro bikes, drink coffee, play music. Ekaterina graduated from Abramtsevo Art Industrial College, named after the famous Russian painter V.M.Vasnetsov. Then Ekaterina graduated from I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. The style of paintings called “Positivism”.
“I want to make people happy. My paintings are my imaginations, my good dreams and desires”. Ekaterina has a large number of exhibitions in Moscow.
Ekaterina’s work are presented in several Russian and German galleries as well.
