Margarita van der Velden

My name is Margarita van der Velden. I was born in Buenos Aires in 1956. After completing my education at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (1980-1984), I founded my own design agency in 1985 "VeldWerk". After having worked as a graphic designer for a long time until 2007, I started developing as a visual artist from 2001.

Through my art I hope to take others into my fantasy world where anything is possible. By shaping my thoughts in clay and colorful glazes, I try to show the viewer the intrinsic beauty of life with lightness and humor.
