Angelika Poels
Artist Angelika Poels ( 1970) is living in Deurne and graduated in 2016 from the Academy Fine arts in Belgium. When she was 22 years old she achieved her propaedeutic year at the Academy of drawing in Tilburg. Angelika has always loved to draw and paint and at a young age you often found her with pencil and brush. She is a versatile artist who creates in different ways and with several techniques. Angelika creates intensive artworks where she searches for many possibiltities by experimenting and exploring new opportunities in her art. Her diversity expresses itself too in the admiration for very various artists like Kirkeby, Degas and artist of today Annemieke Alberts. For Angelika an artwork is not a fixed process. Even you have a study to work with, it is still going to find it’s own way. Angelika wants to allow coincidences and other ways in which you can let go of the orginal design. Uniquencess in her artworks and character definitely suits her!
