Wall decoration made of felt. This felt is made of wool from Schoonebeker, Bergschaap and mulberry silk.
"The white background is felted from Bergschaap wool. The beautiful locks of the Dutch Schoonebeker sheep are glued to the bottom edge in such a way that the locks are still fully recognisable. After felting, I painted the work with Tansy (flower) that I pick from roadsides and waste land."

The felt is traditionally made with water, olive soap and muscle power.
Wool is a special fiber: it improves acoustics because the wool dampens and absorbs sound. It is moisture-regulating, dirt-repellent and fire-resistant.
